Beacon has extensive experience undertaking tree inventories and assessments for sites of all sizes in municipalities across southern and central Ontario. Beacon has worked with hundreds of public and private sector clients to identify suitable opportunities for tree protection, tree replacement and urban forest enhancement on sites ranging from single infill lots to extensive subdivisions adjacent to natural areas.
Beacon’s staff includes Ecologists and Certified Arborists with strong backgrounds in forestry, botany and plant ecology who are trained tree risk assessors with the International Society of Arboriculture and are also certified butternut health assessors.
Beacon’s Ecologists and Certified Arborists work closely with Beacon’s Landscape Architecture staff to develop tree inventory and preservation plans that are accurate, clear and consistent with the applicable policy and regulatory requirements. Beacon also works with public and private sector clients to provide strategic advice about species selection, stock procurement, tree establishment, tree salvage and tree compensation.
