Consulting Field  Arborist – Full Time, Markham

 

Our Arborists are experts in their field, bringing technical proficiency to every project to help support their teams’ and clients’ success.

 

We are seeking an Consulting Field Arborist: an aspiring technical professional who thrives in the field and in helping bring the pieces of a project together. A keen team player with a drive to learn and an eye for detail.

Qualifications:

  • ISA Certified Arborist;
  • One to two years of experience in a consulting or office environment, or equivalent industry experience;
  • One to two years of arboricultural field experience conducting tree inventories with the ability to identify most trees common to southern and central Ontario;
  • Experience with varying municipal by-laws relating to public and private tree protection and provincial regulations with respect to endangered species;
  • Proficient in data management; and
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

 

Additional Bonus Variables (Not required, but good to have):

  • Experience developing Tree Inventory Preservation Plans and contributing to Arborist Reports;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and;
  • Experience with habitat and Ecological Land Classification assessments.
