Beacon has experience in the assessment of woodlands, forests and treed areas in urban and rural settings, and is also provides related management planning for features identified for preservation. Our firm has two Certified Arborists to provide arboricultural support on projects as needed.

At a broader strategic level, Beacon Environmental has played a lead role in the development of comprehensive urban forest management plans for a number of municipalities seeking to effectively manage their treed resources, and support stewardship of treed areas on private lands. The firm has also built up expertise in tree bylaws and the development and implementation of communications strategies related to urban forest strategic plans.
