Carolyn has a multidisciplinary background and utilizes an ecosystem approach when integrating science and policy.  Her strong research background allows for proficient data collection and analysis, as well as thorough experimental design.

She regularly provides research support through Species at Risk, aquatic habitat, and fisheries assessments to determine ecological and development constraints and opportunities.  Carolyn’s understanding of ecosystem interactions provides her with the expertise to design ecological monitoring plans, applying principles of adaptive management. 

She is familiar with provincial environmental regulatory process and policy review and applies this expertise to Natural Heritage Evaluations, Environmental Impact Studies, and Due Diligence Assessments.
